Explore the area's rich history in the nearby towns of Cashel and Cahir, admire the ancient history surrounding Lough Gur, or visit the Grange Stone Circle, the largest stone circle in Ireland, only 31 km from Tipperary Town. 

 

Pay a visit to the Rock of Cashel, an ancient royal site of the Kings of Munster that dates to the 5th century - one of Ireland’s most visited historical landmarks offering stunning views.

 

Get a glimpse at the ancient site of Athassel Abbey, near the village of Golden, only 13 km from Tipperary Town, which offers the serene beauty of the largest medieval priory in Ireland.
